Understanding Interventions that Broaden Participation in Research Careers

The 5th Annual Conference on Understanding Interventions that Broaden Participation in Research Careers will take place in Baltimore, MD May 10-12, 2012. The conference is designed to create a dialogue among behavioral/social science and education researchers, evaluators, and faculty in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) fields who participate in intervention programs.

SAVE THE DATE! The WiscAMP Annual Meeting is scheduled for Friday, October 19, 2012 at the Madison Concourse Hotel in downtown Madison.
The meeting is a great opportunity for WiscAMP students to connect with each other, present their research and attend workshops to build success in their STEM majors. WiscAMP campus liaisons, governing board members, and Small Grant PIs will have many opportunities to share strategies for success and build collaborative relationships for future WiscAMP projects. UW-La Crosse will be hosting NCUR April 11-14, 2013. This is an excellent conference for students to present their research. WiscAMP students are strongly encouraged to attend!

Save the date for our WiscAMP Annual Meeting on Friday, November 1, 2013. We'll be meeting at the Union South in on the UW-Madison Campus. Our keynote speaker for our luncheon is Dr. Kathryn Milligan-Myhre, a microbiologist who will discuss her research and her academic career.
